Amanda is a Columbus, Ohio based Attorney and creative. She loves helping artists, startups, and small businesses reach greater heights through effective legal counsel and zealous advocacy.

Amanda’s practice focuses on business law and the wide range of legal issues relevant to starting and operating a business. This includes corporate governance, data privacy, mergers and acquisitions, securities, venture capital, intellectual property, contracts, and the many nuances in between.

Amanda has had the opportunity to work on a large variety of corporate law and regulatory matters for both domestic and international clients, ranging in size from small startups to huge, complex multi-million-dollar organizations. Additionally, she has experience working in-house on the privacy and digital operations legal team at a popular American retail brand. She believes effective legal counsel should not only protect your business’s interests but also empower you to explore new ideas and directions.

Amanda received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law after leaving her home state of Virginia, where she earned her B.A. in Corporate Communication and Integrated Advertising from the James Madison University School of Media Arts and Design. Before attending law school, Amanda used her digital media marketing and graphic design skills in a press internship with a Congresswoman on Capitol Hill. Amanda was also heavily involved in leadership and educational organizations and activities during her law school career. For example, Amanda attended a summer semester at the University of Oxford in Oxford, U.K., where she took classes on international corporate law and comparative legal professions. Additionally, Amanda served as a Senator and PR Chair for the Student Bar Association, Admissions Fellow for the Dean of Admissions, Editor on the Ohio State Technology Law Journal, and a judicial extern for the Federal Circuit. Her participation in the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic sparked her passion for helping startups and small businesses. This passion drives her to stay informed on industry trends, enabling her to offer insights that go beyond your everyday, conventional legal advice.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys various creative DIY projects as well as her nerdy hobbies of video games and TTRPGs with friends.
